The Server-Authoritative OTP Handshake

When you book a chauffeur, our backend Cloud Function (onTripCreated) generates a secure 4-digit PIN stored in an isolated collection with strict zero-client read permissions (allow read: if false). Neither the driver's phone nor third-party sniffers can access it.

The PIN is delivered exclusively to your customer app session. You verbally share the code only when the driver is physically standing at your vehicle. Upon server entry via verifyTripOtp, the PIN is permanently consumed and the trip starts.
